Easter + pages
Can't really talk now, I'm getting ready for school still. But here are some pages I did for my 2008 events scrapbook. One being Aaron moving from Chi-town to Houston. BIG move, the others being Easter. Hope you like them, and I'll get back to everyone later...

Got bored
I'm not having the best spring break, but it's coming along.
Last night I got a little bored and got out stamps and went wild.
I was happy to be a little closer to summer 08 so I made this card from the swim suit at Gina K's collections, thanks for your support I also made some pretty farm cards too, just for fun. From this stamp but Gina K. Down on the Farm
nothing else much to do. Got some boy problems and I really need to talk to my mommy, but the problem is, she's in Florida for a conference. I haven't talked to her all week, and won't be able to until Sunday. Sad, sad story I know.
Hope all is swell...

First stamp
So like I said a while ago, my aunt Lori gave me TONS of her old stamps, she decided she didn't want them any more, so yesterday I went through and decided to make a thank you card, not sure for who, I'm not sure if everyone goes through their paper and crafts and says "I'm going to make this card for this person, or this card for this person" I'd rather make a card for someone then make a card and let it gather dust, so I guess I'm stuck to making thank you cards because EVERYONE can use a thank you card...
Materials:
I found some blue and green paper, and I also found some off white paper I ripped, but first I stamped it then I used these chalk things, I'll put up a picture.
I'm not really sure how to use these chalks, but my aunt said just use a Q-tip to rub it on, if anyone knows what, or how to use these, please tell me.
I also need help for a card idea. My cousin Jordan is having his Confirmation at the end of the month, I'm not sure how to do this card! Plus my cousin Gavin is graduating at the end of the school year, but I have an idea on how to do this card..
Any opinions would be appreciated.

Late Easter
So this Easter I went to my Grammas house in Boone, it was a GREAT time. My mom and I hung out with my Gramma Saturday after shopping, then lunch, I bought a CUTE jacket and I dyed eggs for the first time. I know, not right, lol. Then went to night service. Sunday morning we went to church again, got back to the farm and hid eggs for the children, AND ate some amazing food, pretty much just chilled with all of my cousins and made sure I had a great time. WHICH I DID. The only sad thing is, my phone doesn't get service where my Gramma lives, and it's only my phone, so I went all weekend without talking to my guy pal. Sad, sad story I know... =[
Got home and did laundry and all the other great stuff.I made this thing called a yoyo card I found on Simply Rae's site. She's pretty nifty I must say. I found some polka-dotted fabric I bought a LONG time ago when I wanted to be just like Vera Wang. I was so cute at 12 years old. I made my mother buy me a sewing machine because I wanted to make my own clothes, well that didn't work so hott. lol =D
Anyway, my Aunt Lori called my mom last week and asked if I wanted some older stamps, OF COURSE I said yes. I never really owned any stamps until Sunday, so I got a HUGE bin full of them, and some embossing powder and some umm, what is it called, like chalk paint, or what ever. I'll have to get a picture of it, but I got a crap load of amazing stamps and ink too. I was SOO excited, of course I'm not able to get anything done until next week, SPRING BREAK BABY..
My mom is off to Florida with her friend for a few days of fun then a conference... that meanniness, I get to stay home and chill with my guy pal. =D

I need opinions
I'm having a pretty difficult time with this new relationship. Don't think I'm desperate for advice, I just want some help from other women, besides my mom, especially ones with teenage daughters and/or daughters in general.
My problem is, my guy pal thinks I am not social enough and he believes I am always studying for stupid reasons. He doesn't believe in good grades, and he sure doesn't believe in acting like an adult at 16-17 years old. I, myself, have a different view. I believe that acting more independent and responsible as a teenager will make me more prepared as an adult AND I'm social in a different way, I give speeches and presentations all the time to teachers, students, and even the 6th Judicial District of Iowa, once.
Now, my questions are.
Is it wrong to be more of an adult as a teenager and get to learn the society around oneself. Or should every teenager only play and not care about school and/or education at all?
Education is MY LIFE. I study because I enjoy it, I know and I understand it is my only way to accomplish the dreams I want to achieve. Is it wrong that I don't always go out and party with my friends? Is it wrong that I'd rather stay at home by myself and read a book instead of going to the movies with people I don't feel like hanging out with? It's not that I don't like going to the movies, or hanging out with my guy pal, once a week is fine, but he, and most teenagers at school, do this every night. I don't, is that so wrong?
Ive come to realize that I'm not like other students or teenagers, I'm very unique, outgoing, optimistic, and opinionated, I know it takes some courage for a person to admit all of that. but I know and I understand what I have to do to make myself the person I want to be. On the other hand, my guy pal thinks I work too hard. He thinks I need to chill on my classes, and he thinks I need to drink soda, GROSS.. my schooling is my life. I enjoy getting my 3.776 GPA, I enjoy being 95 out of 436 students in my GRADE, and I sure enjoy being in the top 22% in my class. Is that so wrong?
The question I need opinions on is, is it wrong for a teenage girl to be more focused on her education, instead of hanging out at the movies, the mall, and being focused on a guy? Even though I admit, I do like my guy...
Please help me out, my mom gave me amazing advice, like always, but I need other parental advice. Please gals, what would you do if your daughter was being pressured to change, when she was completely happy with the way she is?
Thank you for letting me vent a bit..
xoxoxo
